This is a Utah Concealed Carry course on steroids and won’t be found anywhere in Utah! Cops carry comfortably because they do that for a living.  In order for you to become comfortable carrying on a regular basis, you have to train like a cop does! I am a retired Utah law enforcement officer and Utah Concealed Firearms Instructor and have designed a Utah CCW class that is tailored for all levels of experience, from that new gun owner that knows nothing about guns to the more novice shooter that has handled guns most of their life.

This is a traditional 13-hour pistol course jammed into an 8-hour day on the gun range and getting comfortable with your carry handgun. You will do all classroom portions of the course online in the comfort of your home through interactive videos and images, (about 5 hours) and then after you have passed the written test at 90% or higher, we will finish up at the range.

We will be shooting from the holster and learning pistol skills similarly to what the police learn. We will also be doing some night shooting at the end of the course, so you will need a flashlight. We will also be doing the Tueller drill and stress shooting.

Upon successful completion of the Utah CCW and pistol course, you will be issued a certificate which you can used to immediately apply for your Utah Concealed Firearm Permit. We will provide the applications, fingerprinting, and required photos before the end of class, leaving you nothing else to do but wait for your permit to arrive!

What will I need to bring?

• Your concealed carry gun, and at least two magazines with it (we have rental guns for 25.00 if you need one)
• a weapon attached flashlight, or regular flashlight
• A holster and a good belt that holds your holster, Duty holsters are okay
• a magazine carrier
• 300 rounds of target ammunition
• Optional, if you have body armor bring it
• Range fees, eye and ear protection and targets provided.
