Utah Concealed Firearms Course Details:
This St George Utah concealed firearms course will satisfy Utah requirements to get your Utah gun license.
We encourage our students to take advantage of our (hands on) instruction in our classroom but it’s not required. You are welcome to bring your pistol and one magazine to class, (no ammunition) and a carry holster if you have one. As time permits, we will practice safely loading and loading with training rounds, clearing pistol malfunctions, safe handling, how to safely draw from the holster, safe storage, transportation and selecting the right ammunition.
We will have in depth discussion on Utah law including but not limited to:
- Force in defense of habitation, (Castle Doctrine)
- Force in defense of a person (Stand our ground law)
- Arrests by private citizen and force in defense of property
- Safe handling, storage, transportation and carry of your self defense gun
- Legal update on any new Utah laws this year applicable to Utah carry.
A one stop shop, bring your government ID, or driver license, we will provide the required fingerprints and photo if requested and will hand deliver your application packet to the State with nothing else to do!
NRA Pistol Training Upgrade:
The St George Utah Concealed Firearms Course does not require any live fire on the gun range to show proficiency with your firearm. Take this class upgrade to receive a pistol lesson which includes an hour of range time with a certified instructor. This upgrade is strongly recommended for those new to handguns and you will be able to demonstrate proficiency with your handgun. This is very popular upgrade among students.

We do not allow refunds for any of our classes. If you do not show up for your appointment, we may at our discretion allow you to attend another class at our choosing if there are empty seats available.
