This four-hour Utah Concealed Firearms Permit (CFP) course satisfies Utah minimum training requirements needed to apply for your Utah concealed carry permit. This is classroom only instruction. Before you leave, we will have a trained fingerprinting and photo technician on site to take your required Fingerprints and your photo if you need one. That cost is an additional fee that you can pay through checkout, we will complete the Utah CFP applications before you leave and have everything ready to mail in to BCI.

Topics covered:

• Use of force, including use of deadly force allowed by a private person
• Laws of carry, transportation and concealment and holsters
• Storage tips and recommendations of your gun in the home, car etc.
• Intro to handguns, including how to safely load and unload them.

Optional basic pistol course: (If you want to shoot as a part of your class as it should be!)

Upgrade through checkout to take this hybrid learning pistol course. You will complete 4 learning modules online where you will learn how to select the right handgun, learn basic shooting fundamentals, cleaning and maintenance of handguns and much more. (Takes on average about 4 hours to complete the learning at home) On your class date after the Utah class is finished, you will stay over an additional two hours (after taking a lunch break) and practice on a range and complete a shooting qualification test with your instructor. IF you choose this option, you will need to bring your handgun, two magazines and supply 100 rounds of target ammunition. After successful completion of the pistol course, you will be issued a certificate of completion from the NRA that shows competency with a handgun.
