Utah Concealed Firearm Permit Course:

This four-hour (classroom only) Utah Concealed Carry Course meet’s Utah training requirements needed to apply for your Utah Standard, or Provisional Concealed Firearm Permit, or (CFP). You can get a license at a minimum age of 18.

Topics:

• Pistol familiarization, Safe Gun handling, loading/unloading and clearing pistol malfunctions.
• Use of force including deadly force is legally allowed to protect your home, your land, persons and your personal property.
• Laws of Carry, where you can and can’t carry a firearm in public.
• Lawful transportation and tips on storage of your firearm

What else is needed for the class?

• One set of fingerprints (15.00 charge available through checkout) A trained fingerprint technician will be on site for this if needed.
• One recent passport style photo (15.00 charge available through checkout) A trained photo taker will be on site for this if you need it. 
• BCI Utah Concealed Firearm Permit application (provided free)
• Bring a paper-copy of your government issued ID, or driver license with you. If born outside of the US, bring a paper photo-copy of your US Passport, a green card, or other proof of legal residency. Having a picture on your phone of these items is not acceptable, we need a paper-photo copy!

Additional charges: BCI will charge your 53.25 for a Utah resident CFP. This charge is separate from what you pay us and is what the state of Utah charges for the five-year gun license. You can pay with a credit card, or personal check the day of class payable to BCI.

Optional training: We strongly suggest range time as an upgrade to the class. If you want to upgrade for 50.00 (through checkout) we can provide you a range lesson and evaluation of your skills. If choosing this option, you will need to pay your lane fee of 14.00, bring your own handgun, magazine, one box of ammunition to the class. Eye/ear protection is provided.  If you don’t have a gun yet, no problem, rental guns are available for 25.00 and we will help you choose the right handgun for you.

Refund Policy:

All sales are final. Be sure you can attend on the date chosen. We will not reschedule your class if you missed your chosen date. We will not refund your ticket for no shows.
