This informative (Hands on) Utah CFP Class is for anyone at least 18 years old that can legally possess a handgun. This four- hour class satisfies Utah CFP training requirements needed to apply for your Utah Concealed Standard and Provisional Firearms Permit. At the end of the class I will issue you a training certificate and we can apply for the Utah CFP license, do the required fingerprinting, and photo, all right here, one stop!

Included with your ticket is:

• Evaluation of your pistol handling skills and any recommendation for training if needed. Note: We reserve the right at the instructor’s discretion to require you to complete a basic pistol live-fire course before we can certify your weapons familiarity training certificate.  If this happens the cost is 150.00 and you need 50 rounds of target ammo and pay a lane fee of 14.00. This will need to be done within 12 months from the date of your Utah CFP Class date.
• Practical gun handling exercises, including gripping the pistol, safe loading and unloading, and how to choose a carry pistol that fits you.
• Thorough detailed review of Utah Criminal Code and use of force laws, including using lawful deadly force in self-defense
• Thorough review of Utah Carry laws and BCI reciprocity, safe storage of firearms.

What is needed for class?

• Your government issued ID card or driver license, if you were born outside of the US, a US Passport or other documentation
• Optional: You can bring your pistol, one magazine and a holster to class. If you don’t own a gun, you can still take this course, we have rental guns available if you want to use one for practical handling exercises.
