Location: Class time will be at our home classroom in Taylorsville, Range time will be at TNT gun range, or Doug’s shooting sports.

This course is taught by a retired Utah Police officer with 25 years of law enforcement training and experience. This is an intermediate pistol defense class so you should already have taken an NRA or equivalent course, or demonstrate basic pistol skills before being allowed to take this course. This class will involve a scenario, role play based home invasion scenario where students will learn how to shoot quickly and accurately, skills to avoid being a victim in the first place. Learn your legal rights of Utah self defense laws and your constitutional rights when contacted by police. Learn how to best interact with the police emergency response after a shooting and learn what to expect during this contact and much more.
We will supply you with 150 rounds of 9mm ammo and pay our range fee with the course. You will need a duty style belt, double magazine pouch with at least 2 magazines, your handgun and eye and ear protection.
After successful completion you will be awarded an NRA certificate of completion of the course. You do not need to be an NRA member to attend this training.
